Welcome
The release of “A Second Chance” introduces the music world to Dorothy Leigh. She grew up in a musical family, which included her older sister who sang with Dionne Warwick and other artists. “I grew up in a large family. We used to sing duets and background behind each other. I loved Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Dionne Warwick and Barbra Streisand. My dream was to be an accomplished singer.”
Dorothy’s opportunity to pursue her dream came two years ago, when she was laid off from her job of more than ten years. A pharmaceutical error led to severe medical complications, which found Dorothy in the Intensive Care Unit, fighting for her life. At a cross road in her life, she returned to her first love, singing.
You can find Ms. Leigh’s unique blend of jazzy/R&B music on Amazon, Itunes, CD Baby and in stores now.
